CITS Specialists Participate in 8th Republican Forum for Translation and Interpreting Lecturers and Practitioners at MSLU
On April 11th, the 8th Republican Forum for for Translation and Interpreting Lecturers and Practitioners took place at the Minsk State Linguistic University. This annual event brings together representatives from professional communities across various countries within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). It provides a platform to discuss pressing issues facing the industry, ranging from modern teaching methodologies to challenges in training translators under new conditions.
CITS Specialists delivered a presentation titled Translation and Interpreting in the Caspian States: Regional Challenges and Personnel Training. Their report delved into key aspects of the regional translation services market, highlighting unique challenges and opportunities specific to the Caspian region. A significant part of their presentation focused on practical solutions developed by school experts that have successfully enhanced young translators’ qualifications.
