MFA of Russia Intepreter Holds a Lecture for CITS and FFL Staff

On December 9, Timofey Mineyev, an experienced interpreter, Second Secretary of Department of Linguistic Support of the MFA of Russia, gave a unique lecture to CITS and the Faculty of Foreign Languages staff. During the meeting, the participants took a detailed look at existing interpreting strategies and their use, as well as discussed practical aspects of an interpreter’s work and shared their experience.

Timofey Mineyev gave his valuable recommendations on how to improve the quality of interpretation and shared the specifics of working with high-speed speeches and situations where there is the need for instant reaction. The participants then had Q&A session and received professional advice on how to develop their skills.
