CITS Holds Online Event on Machine Translation and AI
The Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation held an online career guidance event devoted to the practical application of machine translation and AI in translation activities.
Prospective students, CITS course attendees, students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and other interested individuals participated in the event and learned about the latest trends in machine translation, new requirements for translators in the AI era, and the practical application of modern technologies, including demonstration of editing and post-editing tools.
It was highlighted that many post-editing functions are integrated into CAT systems, and the CITS annual professional development course “Working with Translation Automation Systems in Translator Training” is devoted to learning how to work with them.
CITS is going to arrange such events regularly to help future specialists navigate the rapidly changing world of translation.
