New Pre-University Project Meeting: Immersion into the Translator’s Profession
The series of educational meetings for school students as part of the Pre-University Project continues. CITS employees invited pupils to become acquainted with the art of translation and interpreting and informed them about career opportunities in this field.

Students learned more about the peculiarities and key tasks of a modern translator. An experienced specialist conducted a demonstration lesson, revealing secrets of correct and incorrect approaches to interpreting. The participants observed live simultaneous interpretation sessions and practiced distinguishing high-quality interpretation from mediocre one.
This practice helps teenagers better understand the nuances of their chosen profession and fosters an interest in professional development in the future.
