CITS Highlights Research Achievements
A dynamic academic discussion took place at the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation (CITS) as part of the section Intercultural Communication, Translation Studies and Translation Challenges within the international scientific and practical conference Multilingualism in a Multicultural Environment: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
Researchers from CITS presented papers on highly relevant topics, including The Role of the Linguocultural Profile of the Recipient in Evaluating Interpreting and The Specificity of Shaping Cultural Identity. Their presentations received strong positive feedback and prompted a lively professional discussion. Students showed particular interest, actively engaging with questions, comments, and their own observations.
The event was held in a warm and collaborative atmosphere, fostering academic exchange among faculty members, researchers, and students. The conference marked an important contribution to the development of research in intercultural communication and translation studies.
