ASU Specialists Provide Language Support for 10th Caspian Media Forum

On August 22, the 10th Caspian Media Forum concluded in Astrakhan, having become an important platform for discussing current issues of regional development and enhancing cooperation in the mass media sphere. The event gathered over a thousand representatives from the Caspian region countries and Forum partners.

Professional language support, provided by the staff of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation and the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Astrakhan Tatishchev State University, played a key role in ensuring comfortable communication. It was their high-class work that facilitated interaction, particularly in the key language pair of Russian-Persian.

Participants were provided with simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during plenary sessions and special sessions, enabling guests and speakers to freely express their thoughts and constructively discuss important issues. Therefore, the event gained additional momentum for establishing effective channels of cross-cultural mutual understanding and supporting joint projects on a regional level.
