CITS and FFL Specialists Attend Masterclass by Renowned Audiovisual Translator

The CITS and the Faculty of Foreign Languages at ASU hosted a masterclass, Audiovisual Translation: A Bright Future for the Translation Profession, featuring Aleksey Kozulyaev, founder of the RuFilms School of Audiovisual Translation.

Aleksey Kozulyaev, a renowned translator with extensive experience in subtitling and dubbing popular foreign films and TV series, shared his expertise and insights into the skills needed for high-quality audiovisual translation. He also dispelled common myths surrounding this field.

The masterclass proved incredibly valuable, offering participants insights into the nuances of audiovisual translation and practical experience in pre-translation analysis of video sequences.
