CITS Specialists Take Part in the Linguocultural Studies Conference

On October 2-3, 2025, Patrice Lumumba Russian University of Peoples’ Friendship (RUDN University) hosted the 7th International Scientific and Practical Conference Linguocultural Studies Conference. The event was co-organized by RUDN University, the Russian Society of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature, and the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University.
Specialists from the CITS presented their research at the section Theoretical and Applied Issues of Modern Linguoculturology. Linguocultural Aspects of Translation. Translation Studies. They delivered a report titled A Linguocultural Approach to Translation Assessment, in which they proposed innovative criteria for evaluating interpreting quality, drawing from their extensive professional experience. The presentation sparked considerable interest among the attendees and led to a productive discussion.
