ASU Students Explore Innovations at Skolkovo Technopark
Astrakhan State University students got a unique opportunity to visit Skolkovo Technopark, a leading Russian technological innovations center, as part of their participation in the V International Interpreting Model UN at Moscow State Linguistic University.
The group included the students of ASU Faculty of Foreign Languages and staff of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation: Yana Pendeleeva, Angelina Malova, and Dmitry Kuzmin. The visit was guided by Elena Yakovleva, Senior Specialist of the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation.
Narmina Velieva, Director of the Resident Relations Department at Skolkovo Technopark, arranged the tour around the center to introduce the Technopark’s activities to the students. Narmina told about the Technopark’s mission, which involves supporting participant companies in developing their technological assets and corporate structures.
Skolkovo Technopark offers startups a comprehensive ecosystem, providing access to advanced infrastructure, including office and laboratory spaces that our students were able to visit. It should be noted that the Technopark also promotes the training of future innovators through open educational programs, offering students internship opportunities and employment prospects.
According to Yana Pendeleeva, “The visit to Skolkovo Technopark was an invaluable experience that allowed us to see how innovations are developing in the Russian technology sector”.
