CITS Presents New Unique Course

CITS recently presented a brand-new training course titled Foreign-Language Tour Guidance (English). This program has been developed together with the Department of Philosophy, Cultural Studies, and Sociology.

Beyond simply highlighting the advantages of the course, we underscored its importance for aspiring tourist guides and interpreters. Sharing personal experiences accompanying international delegations and revealing communication secrets, we even held interactive English-Russian language games to refresh local knowledge.

Starting July 1, 2023, all tour guides and interpreter-guides in Astrakhan region must undergo official certification to legally operate in the tourism sector. Graduates of this course will be prepared to sit for these exams, administered by the Regional Ministry of Economic Development.

Attendees enthusiastically joined discussions, posed numerous questions, and enjoyed interactive games during the meeting. Following the event, many expressed immediate interest in enrolling.
