CITS Holds Family Chronicles of Victory Conference with Simultaneous Interpretation
On April 25, the Caspian Higher School of Interpreting and Translation hosted a special event filled with memory, warmth, and deep respect for history – the educational conference with simultaneous interpretation Family Chronicles of Victory.
The event devoted to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory brought together students, schoolchildren, teachers, and professional interpreters. Participants shared personal family stories about the heroism, trials of life, and resilience of their ancestors during the Great Patriotic War.
The speakers delivered their presentations in English, while student interpreters provided high-quality interpretation into Russian, transforming each story into a true bridge between generations and cultures. It was not only valuable experience for future interpreters but also an opportunity to preserve important memories by passing them on to new generations.
Frontline letters, old photographs, touching stories – each presentation made the audience consider the price of peace and the power of memory.
CITS appreciates everyone who became part of this event! Expand the boundaries of your foreign language proficiency with us!
