CITS Concludes Introduction to Conference Interpreting Course
Conference interpreters remain indispensable across global industries. The ability to analyze information rapidly, perform under high-pressure conditions, and ensure high-quality cross-linguistic communication keeps these professionals in high demand.Throughout the course, trainees mastered theoretical foundations and gained hands-on experience in simulated real-world environments.
Ekaterina Pakhomova, a course graduate, shared her reflections on the program:
While pursuing my translation degree, I consciously avoided consecutive and especially simultaneous interpreting courses because I never believed I had the aptitude for them. However, after graduating, I decided to step out of my comfort zone, and this experience became a true revelation. Thanks to the unwavering support of the instructors, who are highly qualified, practicing experts, I proved to myself that I can successfully handle both written translation and verbal interpreting. The course helped me overcome internal doubts, unlock my potential, and build strong practical skills. The simulated conferences were particularly valuable, providing us with rigorous professional feedback. For me, this journey was about personal growth just as much as professional development. I wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone looking to explore interpreting and open new career horizons.I believe this program is equally beneficial for beginning language professionals and experienced interpreters who want to refresh or polish their simultaneous and consecutive skills after a career break. It is an excellent opportunity to gain extra practice and expand professional competencies.
We congratulate our graduates on their successful completion of the program and wish them continued professional success, confidence, and new milestones in their interpreting careers!
The next cohort starts in October 2026. Stay tuned – more exciting opportunities are on the way!
